KEREM ARIÇ
Kerem Arıç is a dual-qualified (Switzerland and Turkey) lawyer focusing on Oil and Gas, Mining, Power Generation and Banking and Finance.
Kerem has extensive experience in oil and gas in every stage of upstream activities such as production sharing, regulatory work, joint operating, farm-in, drilling and field services, production and processing facilities; as well as in downstream activities including natural gas storage and pipeline projects, natural gas sale and import agreements. He likewise developed expertise in mining projects where his practice encompasses agreements with mining contractors, royalty and offtake agreements. Kerem is also active in the power generation industry, focused on both nuclear and thermal power plants as well as renewables and geothermal projects. He frequently represents both lenders and borrowers in the context of project finance and restructuring transactions in the natural resources and power generation industry. He is also listed as an expert by the Association of Turkish Consulting Engineers and Architects.
Kerem further represents clients in arbitration proceedings, again with a specific focus on disputes in the natural resources, power generation and related construction businesses. Kerem also leads YAZICI’s compliance practice, advising clients on anti-bribery and corruption rules and procedures, data privacy and protection.
